My name is Prudence Geerts. Many of you may know me as Planet
Prudence, the illustrator. But since in my illustrations I’m focusing on struggles
in adulthood, mental health, relationships and just life in general, so many
people have asked me for help, and I want to help every single one of you so I
decided to start a mental health blog and start coaching one on one.
With a history of mental and sexual abuse, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD,
depression, domestic violence, being bullied,.. I have a wide variety of things
to talk about and a huge group of people that I can help. I’ve been going
through these things for the majority of my life and have never found a way to
get out of it. Until these last years after I collapsed and couldn’t even get
out of bed anymore. I started to take the bull by the horns and actively do
something about it. I grew and became the most enlightened version of myself I
could possibly be. I can remember feeling like this back when I played on the
playground in kindergarten only a few years before all the troubles and pain started.
It was how my enlightened, innocent and carefree soul felt. It’s how we’re all
supposed to feel in life. I went to therapy actively, went to alternative
therapy, took medication, had motivation, dedication, took many readings, talks,
read books and lots of documentation, practiced yoga and focused on breathing
and meditation until I was finally at that place where my soul felt peaceful.
I never found myself in that position to actually help someone else,
but since I got out of all these things, I’m very happy to help others now as
much as I can.
I started this journey at the beginning of 2019 with a lot to give
and in order to spread more love and to help you even better on your personal
journey. Life is not easy, and I have seen it first-hand. I know what balls
life can throw at you and I now know how to kick them back into their baskets. I
know when you’re reading this, you already know you’re born to feel more joy and
want to lead a more mindful life than you’re doing right now. Let’s move
forward in life, it’s time.

I really admire you Prudence. I have myself not been in a very stable mental state lately with my studies and personal problems. I thought I was alone on this journey (which is one hell of a ride), but seeing more people talking about this and sharing their mental situations and how they've evolved and how they've done it makes me hopeful for the future.
